Only calibrated meters are approved for electricity billing according to § 25 of the German Calibration Act. Non-compliance is an administrative offense under § 19. Maximum current is 3 x 80 A, with a standby loss of only 0.5 watts per path. This is a modular device for mounting on a DIN-EN 60715 TH35 rail. It has 4 division units, measuring 70 mm wide and 58 mm deep. Accuracy class B (1%). Equipped with an S0 interface. The directly measuring three-phase meter measures active energy based on the currents flowing between the inputs and outputs. The self-consumption of only a maximum of 0.5 watts of active power per path is not measured or displayed. It can connect 1, 2, or 3 external conductors with currents up to 80 A. The starting current is 40 mA. The neutral connection must be present. The 7-segment LC display can be read twice within two weeks even without power supply. The power consumption is displayed with a bar that blinks 100 times per kWh on the display.
