Mobile AC meter with a type E plug for France and Belgium. Equipped with an additional personal protection residual current device (PRCD) rated at 30 mA. Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. Maximum current of 16 A. Protection class IP54. Standby loss is only 0.4 watts. Housing dimensions are 155 x 60 x 82 mm, with a connection cable of 1.5 m (including plug and socket). Accuracy class B (1%). This mobile AC meter measures active energy based on the current flowing between the input and output. The self-consumption of only a maximum of 0.4 watts is not measured or displayed. The display cyclically alternates every 10 seconds between the accumulated active energy in kWh and the current consumption in kW. The starting current is 20 mA. The display can only be read when powered. However, the consumption is stored non-volatilely and is immediately displayed again after a power failure. The digital display has 7 digits. Up to 99999.99 kWh, two decimal places are shown; from 100000.0 kWh onwards, only one decimal place is displayed. The mobile AC meter is equipped with a mounting bracket for easy installation, which can be easily removed if not needed. Power consumption is indicated by a LED that blinks 2000 times per kWh. The personal protection residual current device (PRCD) detects fault currents that may occur when touching a faulty electrical appliance and interrupts the current quickly enough to prevent life-threatening accidents. It also features an undervoltage release that disconnects in the event of a power failure. Includes a function indicator and test circuit.
