Eltako Electricity meter data gateway

RS485 bus wireless power meter data gateway for meters with IR interface IEC 62056-21. 2 channels. Standby loss of only 0.4 watts. Connection to the Eltako RS485 bus. Cross-wiring of bus and power supply with jumper. This power meter data gateway can provide data from an electronic household meter (eHZ-EDL) with an IR interface according to IEC 62056-21 and SML protocol version 1 to the RS485 bus. This data can be forwarded to an external computer or the GFVS software. The regular blinking of the green LED indicates that the FSDG14 is receiving data from the meter. The active power, up to 4 meter readings, and the serial number are transmitted. The serial number corresponds to the last 4 bytes (hex) of the server ID printed on the meter. Data is transmitted via the wireless antenna module FAM14 into the building's wireless network. Consumption data is sent on channel 1 and supply data on channel 2. It is necessary to assign a device address from the FAM14, as described in the user manual. In the event of a change in active power or a meter reading, the relevant telegram is sent immediately, and all telegrams including the serial number are sent cyclically every 10 minutes. Display is also possible with FEA65D. The FSDG14 can be read out using the PC tool PCT14.
