In the ELX Live X series, Electro Voice offers an optimized selection of powerful full-range speakers for professional use. Heavy and solidly constructed, the ELX models are suitable for live sound applications, everyday rental needs, as well as long-term fixed installations. In addition to various bass drivers, Electro Voice incorporates a 1.5" titanium high-frequency driver and horn systems in the ELX series, which ensure a pronounced sound and excellent dispersion characteristics. The ELX115P is a 15" full-range speaker that is powered by a 1000W Class D amplifier. Thanks to its excellent components and good tuning, the ELX115 delivers a solid low end down to 56 Hz (-3 dB) and achieves a respectable sound level of 134 dB. Therefore, the speaker is not only suitable as a high-performance main sound source in combination with an ELX118 subwoofer, but it can also handle medium-sized sound reinforcement situations effectively and with strong bass when operated alone.
