With the EK-XRES 140 Revo D5 PWM from the current rounded Revo series, EK Water Blocks has developed a high-quality reservoir with an integrated D5 pump. The acetal pump head is an elegant alternative to the previous acrylic variants and offers excellent flow characteristics. Additionally, it is said to provide up to 15% more hydraulic performance compared to a Laing D5, according to the manufacturer. The pump is also decoupled, reducing noise from vibrations. Two G1/4 ports allow for almost any water cooling connection with a G1/4 port to be attached.
The built-in pump is ideal for water cooling systems. The D5 pump features an electronic ball motor, which is supported by a special ball bearing made of ultra-durable ceramic. It achieves a maximum flow rate of 1,500 l/h and a delivery height of 3.9 m.
Additionally, the approximately 205 ml reservoir with a vortex killer ensures that there are always sufficient reserves for water cooling. The reservoir is largely made of Plexiglas and acetal, designed for both horizontal and vertical orientation, making it perfect for all water cooling enthusiasts.
Power is supplied via a 4-pin Molex connector. The pump can also be connected to a PWM port via an adapter. The PWM control of the pump allows for automatic speed regulation, providing full power when needed or whisper-quiet operation in standby mode.
