A backplate enhances stability and adds a stylish appearance. The backplate can only be used in conjunction with a compatible GPU cooler from EK Water Blocks, is screwed onto the back of the graphics card, and completely covers it. Since the back of the graphics card is typically oriented upwards and thus well visible in the case, a visual upgrade here is significantly more impactful than on the front of the graphics card.

A subtle and small EK logo adorns the black anodized aluminum plate. In addition to the aesthetic enhancement, the backplate also provides increased stability. This effectively prevents the PCB from bending due to uneven tightening of the screws when securing the main cooler, thereby avoiding prolonged stress.
