EK-Loop Soft Tube 10/13 mm 3 m – Clear is the transparent soft tube with the highest clarity that EK has ever produced. It has high permeability for UV Type A and UV Type B, allowing compatibility with UV-reactive coolants. However, it also has low permeability for UV Type C to prevent degradation and discoloration of the coolant. Designed and manufactured for the most demanding customers who desire the additional convenience and user-friendliness of soft tubes.

High resistance to leaching was one of the key focuses in the production of this tube. EK-Loop Soft Tube uses a phthalate-free plasticizer. It is resistant to degradation and discoloration from beta, UV, and gamma radiation. All components used in the manufacturing process are approved by the US FDA for food applications and meet USP Class VI for use in the medical industry.

One of the main reasons for the degradation of colored coolants is the exposure to sunlight through the tube wall. EK-Loop Soft Tube effectively addresses this issue with special ingredients that ensure high UV-C resistance.
