In the best case, an EK-DDC TOP or a top with an integrated reservoir (EK-DDC X-RES) should be used here, if one is not already available. Ideally, the modified DDC pump is placed in front of or behind one of the case or radiator fans, where a relatively low airflow is already sufficient to significantly improve pump cooling.
The package of this EK-DDC cooler housing also includes four long M4 screws with rubber vibration dampers and four counter screws, allowing the pump to be securely mounted in the housing. For this, four square-arranged holes with a diameter of 4.2 mm are required. For even better heat transfer, thermal paste (not included) can be optionally applied.
This version of the EK Water Blocks EK-DDC heatsink housing features a coating that envelops it in a glossy black finish.
