The EGB Sound Stick is a non-contact, capacitive voltage tester designed for the safe detection of alternating currents without current flow. This versatile tool is excellent for identifying live wires, locating cable breaks, and checking faulty fuses, switches, outlets, and transformers. Additionally, the Sound Stick can be used in low-voltage lighting systems to detect defective bulbs in 230V light chains as well as in chains with 12/24V transformers. User-friendliness is enhanced by an optical display via an LED and an acoustic signal through a buzzer. The impact-resistant and break-proof ABS plastic housing ensures durability, and an IP44 protection rating guarantees use in various environments. The Sound Stick comes with two micro batteries and is TÜV certified, providing additional safety and reliability.
