The Cat.8.1 LAN cables are perfect for use in high-speed networks and for connecting routers, switches, servers, patch panels and much more. To utilise the full capacity, the other components in the network should also be designed for such speeds. In combination with the EFB-Elektronik data socket and the EFB-Elektronik patch panel, you can utilise the optimum performance of the Cat.8 network cable. Cat.8.1 patch cables are ideal for switch-to-switch communication in data centres and server rooms. The super-fast Cat.8 network cables are also used in professional network and media technology. In Cat.8 network cables, a foil encases each twisted pair of wires to virtually eliminate crosstalk and enable higher data transmission speeds. The halogen-free outer jacket of the LAN cable offers additional safety. In the Cat.8.1 version, the cable has a high-quality, shielded RJ45 plug with gold-plated contacts. Thanks to its kink and jack protection, a high number of mating cycles is possible. Cat.8 network cables support Power-over-Ethernet (PoE) technology for the transmission of power and data via a single cable. By eliminating or reducing the need for power cables, Cat.8 patch cables can therefore save a lot of space in crowded server rooms.
