Safety contactors for motors with a complete device rating of up to 170 A. The utilization categories include AC-1 for non-inductive or slightly inductive loads as well as resistance furnaces, AC-3 for squirrel cage motors during starting and stopping in operation, and AC-4 for squirrel cage motors during starting, regenerative braking, reversing, and creeping. The connection technology uses screw terminals. This product is also suitable for motors in efficiency class IE3, with IE3-compatible devices marked with a logo on the packaging.

The device features two electronically compatible microswitches (1 NO + 1 NC) and an auxiliary switching module that is permanently connected to the main device (manual operation is not possible).

The rated operational current for AC-3 at 380 V and 400 V is Ie = 7 A. The rated operational current for AC-1, conventional thermal current, is as follows: 3-pole, 50 - 60 Hz open at 40 °C: Ith = Ie = 22 A; encapsulated: Ith = 18 A; 1-pole open: Ith = 50 A; encapsulated: Ith = 45 A.

The maximum rated operational power for three-phase motors at 50 - 60 Hz AC-3: 220 V 230 V: P = 2.2 kW; 380 V 400 V: P = 3 kW; 660 V 690 V: P = 3.5 kW. For AC-4: 220 V 230 V: P = 1 kW; 380 V 400 V: P = 2.2 kW; 660 V 690 V: P = 2.9 kW.

The contact configurations include S = NO contact: 2 NO and NC = NC contact: 3 NC. Additional notes: Switching elements comply with EN 50012, integrated varistor protection circuit, and include a mirror contact (not for microswitches). The current type is AC/DC with DC actuation.
