Dzofilm Vespid Prime 40 T2.1 for PL/EF Mount (VV/FF)

The relatively small and lightweight DZOFilm VESPID 40mm T2.1 lens is part of the VESPID lens series from DZOFilm and is excellent for independent and high-end full-frame cinematography. The lens has a front diameter of 80 mm, making it compatible with virtually any cine-style matte box. Its compact size makes this lens an attractive option for use with drones and gimbals, as well as for handheld or run-and-gun shooting. The interchangeable PL mount and the included EF mount allow the fully manual lens to be used on a variety of modern and vintage film cameras, while the full-frame coverage supports sensors with an image circle of up to 46.5 mm, enabling use on cameras with full-frame sensors without vignetting. The 16-blade aperture, which is used in all VESPID prime lenses, creates round, out-of-focus highlights that appear more natural and contribute to the lens's pleasing bokeh. The focus ring can rotate 270°, and the aperture ring can rotate 64° for precise focusing. The cine-style gears on the focus and aperture rings make the lens compatible with cine accessories such as follow-focus units, lens motors, and lens control systems. The lens features a magnetically attached rear filter for ND filters.
