In this version, Cherry MX Speed Silver switches are used, which are favored by professional gamers for extremely short response times and high actuation frequencies. They are particularly characterized by their 40 percent faster actuation compared to other Cherry MX switches and impress with a low actuation force, a short travel distance, and a smooth, linear feel. This enables quick double and triple actuation for particularly fast actions.

The housing of the Ducky One 2 SF gaming keyboard is two-toned: while the top is black, the frame and bottom of the keyboard are white. The keycaps are made of polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, produced using the double-shot method, and are significantly more durable than keys made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).
