The Ducky One 2 SF Gaming Keyboard features a very minimalist exterior combined with a mix of features and proven design concepts. It utilizes the reliable Cherry MX switches, which are paired with Ducky's PBT double-shot keycaps. The feature set is housed in a sleek, white case without a numeric keypad, framed by a very narrow, stylish border and complemented by RGB LED lighting.
The highly popular mechanical Cherry MX switches are extremely durable and are optimally suited for different types of gamers, depending on the switch used. Thanks to USB N-Key rollover, multiple keys can be pressed simultaneously without ghosting or other delays. The 1000 Hz report rate of the USB connection aids in this, sending data from the keyboard to the PC every millisecond. The keyboard includes a USB Type-C port for the detachable cable, which has a standard Type-A connector on the other end. Additionally, the two rubberized feet on the back are height-adjustable in three levels for added comfort.
The powerful ARM M3 microcontroller of the Ducky One 2 SF manages and stores the selected LED effects. It also optimizes communication between the keyboard and PC, enabling additional functions, including the use of macros and profile storage. In addition to multimedia functions, Ducky Macro V2.0 allows for mouse pointer control via the keyboard.
