This version features Cherry MX Red switches. Keyboards with these switches have a very light, barely noticeable actuation point and are characterized by a very low actuation force. This makes them an excellent choice for rapid multiple clicks in action games and first-person shooters, as a tactile actuation point is not necessarily required for quick keystrokes.

The casing of the Ducky One 2 SF gaming keyboard is two-toned: while the top is black, the frame and bottom of the keyboard are white. The keycaps are made from UV-lasered ABS (Acrylonitrile-Butadiene-Styrene).
