The feature set is housed in a sleek black-and-white case without a numeric keypad and arrow keys, featuring a very narrow and stylish frame, complemented by RGB LED backlighting.

In this version of the Ducky One 2 Mini, Cherry MX Speed Silver switches are used, which are favored by professional gamers for their extremely short response times and high actuation frequencies. They are particularly distinguished by their 40% faster actuation compared to other Cherry MX switches and offer a low actuation weight, a short travel distance, and a smooth, linear feel. This enables quick double and triple taps for particularly fast actions.

The case of the Ducky One 2 Mini Gaming Keyboard is two-toned: while the top is black, the frame and bottom of the keyboard are white. The keycaps are made from polybutylene terephthalate, or PBT for short, manufactured using the double-shot process, and are significantly more durable than keys made from ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene).
