The ZigBee USB Gateway "ConBee II" enables a platform-independent gateway solution for ZigBee networks. Its small and compact format makes it particularly suitable for use with mini PCs such as the Raspberry
Pi. The USB dongle has a neutral housing and can therefore be easily integrated into existing systems. The compact ConBee II acts together with a PC, notebook or Mini-PC as a fully functional ZigBee gateway and thus enables intelligent control in the wireless smart home area. In addition to interaction with dresden elektronik products, luminaires from OSRAM and Philips can also be integrated and controlled in the ConBee II ZigBee network. In order to keep dresden elektronik's products up to date, the USB dongle enables firmware updates via radio (OTAU).
