DPA d:screet 4061

This series includes the miniature microphones with omnidirectional characteristics 4060, 4061, 4062, 4063, and 4071. Each version is tailored in terms of sensitivity, voltage, and positioning for a specific application. The entire product line of miniature microphones is based on the original d:screet 4060, the very first miniature microphone developed by DPA using the best technology that was previously only found in hearing aids and measurement microphones. All microphones in this series share essential base functions, with each one optimized for special applications. This series was designed for use in the harshest conditions. The microphones feature a 5.4 mm diameter, pre-polarized condenser element with a vertical diaphragm. The Double-Vent Protection System ensures high resistance to moisture and sweat. Additionally, DPA has designed these microphones with reinforced Kevlar strain relief, capable of withstanding constant twisting, bending, and pulling stresses in tough conditions. This microphone is suitable for very loud sound sources and is typically used as a concealed headset microphone, for example, in theater settings.
