AIR1 is suitable for all omnidirectional miniature round microphones with a diameter of 2.5 to 5.8 mm.

Two-layer wind protection: The first protective layer consists of a newly developed acoustic fur. Due to the type, length, and density of the synthetic hairs, the windscreen is significantly smaller than most other windscreens without compromising wind rejection effectiveness. The second protective layer is the airspace created in front of the microphone. Two sturdy arches keep the fur away from the microphone, ensuring a constant volume of air. Additionally, there is a microphone stop that ensures the microphone is positioned at the best-protected spot of the windscreen - the acoustic sweet spot.
