The 4066 CORE+ headband microphone with a spherical pickup pattern offers clear and transparent sound quality with great headroom. For years, this headset microphone has been used by broadcasting stations and Broadway theaters, as well as in many auditoriums and lecture halls. The reason for this is its uncolored sound and durability. Its construction is unique. The microphone arm can be detached from the headset mount and can be reattached on either the left or right side. Moisture, which is often a problem in theaters, is not an issue. The microphone is equipped with a dual ventilation system and a drop-stop on the microphone arm. Additionally, the materials inside the microphone are waterproof. These design elements make it very difficult for the microphone to fail due to moisture.

The microphone sensitivity is 20 mV/Pa, which corresponds to the level of the human voice and the general input sensitivity of most wireless transmitters. With proper powering, the microphone can handle very high sound pressure levels of up to 134 dB SPL before distortion occurs.
