Ideal for remote transmissions, electronic reporting, and film sound applications such as booming, dialogue, interviews, and panels, the d:dicate 4018 supercardioid microphone offers excellent flexibility thanks to its modular accessories. This microphone is part of the d:dicate microphone series. It features a very tight supercardioid pattern with a consistent and uniform frequency response off-axis. The supercardioid shape is frequency-independent and ensures a consistent tonal quality around the microphone. The typical rear lobe found in most supercardioid microphones has been minimized in this capsule, resulting in significantly better isolation without sudden frequency-dependent peaks and dips.
