The DIGITUS SSD/HDD mounting frame for the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive bay is the perfect solution for upgrading your notebook. With this frame, you can replace the optical drive (CD/DVD/Blu-ray) with a hard drive. By attaching the original drive cover to the frame, the replacement remains visually unobtrusive. The mounting frame has a height of 12.7 mm and is designed for 2.5" SATA SSDs and HDDs. The DIGITUS SSD/HDD mounting frame for the CD/DVD/Blu-ray drive bay is compatible with almost all optical drive bays with SATA interfaces. It serves to expand storage by using a hard drive or SSD and allows for faster access to the data stored on it.
