Product details

The hard drive adapter is used like a standard 2.5" hard drive with a SATA III connection. With a low installation height of just 7 mm, it can be installed in all common notebooks. It supports M.2 (NGFF) SSDs of the following types: M.2 Type 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 with B-Key and B+M-Key. Support for M.2 PCIe NVMe SSDs with M-Key is not provided. Additionally, mSATA SSDs with a Mini PCIe 52-PIN connection are supported in a full-size variant. The installed SSD is selected via a DIP switch on the board. The adapter supports boot processes for all standard operating systems such as Windows, Mac OS, or Linux. The internal SSD storage is protected from dust and damage by the fully enclosed aluminum housing. The SATA III interface offers a data transfer speed of 6 Gbit/s, and the read speed can reach up to 520 MB/s, depending on the SSD used. The adapter supports SATA Rev. 3.2 with DEVSLP power-saving mode.
