The DIGITUS MST Hub utilizes Multi Stream Transport (DisplayPort 1.2 feature), allowing multiple AV signals to be transmitted over a single cable. This enables the use of multiple monitors connected via the MST Hub configuration. The MST Hub can distribute different video streams to the two connected screens. Generally, three playback modes are supported: mirroring (one signal mirrored on two displays), extending (two signals on two displays), and distributing (one signal spread across two displays).
