Product details
The DFRobot Liquid Level Sensor SEN0676 is a high-precision, non-contact millimeter-wave radar sensor for measuring liquid levels. It operates in the 80 GHz frequency band using FMCW technology (Frequency Modulated Continuous Wave) and achieves a range of 0.15 to 40 meters with a resolution of 1 mm and an accuracy of ±5 mm. The ±3° focus lens concentrates the measurement energy, minimizing reflections and interference. The sensor is suitable for applications involving water, chemicals, and wastewater, as it does not come into contact with liquids due to its non-contact measurement capability. The integrated anti-interference logic ensures precise results even in fog, condensation, or foam. The sensor can be directly connected to microcontrollers like Arduino via UART (Modbus protocol). Its robust, weatherproof housing allows for use both indoors and outdoors, such as in tanks, reservoirs, or industrial monitoring systems.
Features:
- Millimeter-wave technology (80 GHz) for non-contact, high-precision measurements.
- Measurement range of 0.15 to 40 m with ±5 mm accuracy and 1 mm resolution.
- Anti-interference algorithms for stable readings in steam or foam.
- FMCW modulation with a narrow 3° detection angle through lens optics.
- Easy integration via UART (Modbus) or I2C interface.
