This is an I2S digital amplifier from DFRobot based on the MAX98357 I2S Class D amplifier module. The module works well with microcontrollers that have I2S audio outputs, such as the ESP32, and can be used in projects like IoT nodes, smart home devices, and Bluetooth audio players. It supports a power supply of 3.3V to 5V and can output over 2.5W of power when powered by 5V and connected to a 4Ω speaker. Additionally, the user can set different modes (off, left channel, right channel, and mixed) by changing the resistor on the SD connector. The product is set to mixed mode by default.
