Product details
This is an industrial incremental photoelectric rotary encoder from DFRobot. It generates a two-phase orthogonal AB pulse signal through the rotation of the grating disc and the optocoupler. It provides 400 pulses per revolution for each phase and 1600 pulses per revolution for the two-phase, quadruple output. This encoder supports a maximum speed of 5000 RPM. The photoelectric encoder features an NPN open collector output. It can be directly used with a microcontroller that has internal pull-up resistors. If there are none internally, the encoder comes with two separate 10KΩ pull-up resistors. The encoder is equipped with a 750L05 voltage regulator chip with an input range of 4.8V-24V, making it compatible with Arduino, STM32, PLCs, and other types of microcontrollers.
