Product details

This is an ADC (audio-to-digital converter) with programmable gain amplifier. The built-in MCP3424 is an 18-bit delta-sigma analogue to digital converter. The user can set the PGA gain before conversion. This allows the module to convert weak input signals with high resolution. The ADC can be powered from 2.7 to 5.5V, making it very interesting to use with a Raspberry Pi or 3.3V microcontroller.

The ADC MCP3424 has two modes:
One-Shot Mode: the module performs a single conversion and automatically enters standby mode until it receives another conversion command.
Continuous Mode: Conversion takes place continuously at the set speed.

Features:
18-bit
4-channel
Programmable PGA gain
Two modes for power saving use
Four different I2C addresses easily switchable via slide switch
