Product details
This is a compact thermal printer from DFRobot. The advantage of the thermal printer is that it does not need to be refilled with toner or ink, but can continue to print continuously. The printer is controlled via a mini-USB port or a RS232/TTL serial interface, and supplied with 5V-9V via a PH 2.0 connector. The printer comes with a 58mm paper roll and is perfect for printing sales slips, QR codes or measurement details. With an Arduino or Raspberry Pi, a Gravity Expansion Board and sensors, you can build compact, integrated systems such as measurement systems that print their data periodically or a DIY receipt printer.
Info: The higher the voltage of 5V-9V, the clearer the print. Normal working current is about 0.8A-1.5A. However, if the printer is used in a particularly cold environment, the printer can draw up to 2A. The USB interface supports Windows, but a driver must be installed first. For more information, see the documentation.
