Dexter Industries BrickPi3 base kit

Fans of Lego MINDSTORMS can equip their robots with a new device that replaces the intelligent Lego Mindstorms brick with a Raspberry Pi board. The Raspberry Pi is a credit card-sized single-board computer running the Linux operating system, which multiplies the power and performance of your Lego Mindstorms-based robots, utilizing parts, sensors, and actuators. The BrickPi3 is compatible with the Lego Mindstorms NXT and Lego Mindstorms EV3 kits.

The BrickPi3 comes with two plastic protection plates upon delivery.

The internal electronics of the BrickPi Advanced Power and BrickPi3 consume less power compared to the BrickPi Advanced Power, thereby extending the life of your batteries. The BrickPi can be powered either by batteries (6 or 8 external AA batteries) or via USB, or both. The BrickPi3 Base Kit includes a battery holder for 8 AA batteries and a power cable.

Note: Raspberry Pi 3 is not included.
