The backpack fabric is wonderfully tear and abrasion resistant. The interior holds up to seven liters and is complemented by a valuables pocket and a stretch pocket inside, as well as two elastic side pockets and a pocket on the shoulder strap for GPS or smartphone. To ensure you don't lose your rhythm when accessing the trekking pole holder, it is conveniently placed at the front of the shoulder strap. The soft back panel adapts beautifully to your movements. For weight savings, you can also remove the back foam if needed, making the Ascender 7 approximately 10% lighter.
