By using a pencil extender, you can use a pencil almost down to the last bit before you have to throw it away. Additionally, shorter pencils feel more balanced and are more comfortable to hold. The Derwent pencil extenders are available in two sizes: the silver extender fits larger pencils up to 8 mm, including Derwent Pastel, Coloursoft, and Artists pencils. The black extender is suitable for standard-sized pencils up to 7 mm, including the Derwent Graphic, Watercolour, and Studio series. Both pencil extenders feature a sturdy screw fastening to securely hold the pencils and a soft-touch coating on the shaft for better grip. The pencil extenders are available in a blister pack containing two pieces, one of each size.
