With this adapter from Delock, a USB Type-C (DisplayPort Alternate Mode) monitor can be connected to a free HDMI port on a PC or laptop.

Ideal for portable USB-C monitors
The adapter allows for the connection of a portable monitor to an HDMI port while simultaneously powering the monitor. To do this, simply connect a power supply to the adapter that matches the monitor's input power requirements.

USB Power Delivery (USB PD 3.0) support up to 100 watts
The adapter features a USB Type-C Power Delivery port. When a power supply is connected to this port, the device connected via the USB-C connector will be charged during operation with up to 100 watts.
