This Delock enclosure allows for the installation of an M.2 PCIe NVMe SSD or an M.2 SATA SSD in the 2280, 2260, 2242, and 2230 formats. It can be connected directly to a PC or laptop via the USB-C connector.

The major advantage of this Delock M.2 enclosure is that both SATA and PCIe (NVMe) M.2 SSDs can be used. The storage is automatically recognized by the chipset and can then be utilized.

What makes this enclosure special is that no tools are required for the installation of the M.2 SSD. The cover is slid back, and the SSD is inserted into the slot, secured with a rubber nub on the board, and then the cover is snapped back into place.
