The additional software on sale is good despite minor flaws and the lens cover supplied is practical. There is still something to criticise, however, as the microphone quality is mediocre and the mount is inflexible.
... Face tracking worked flawlessly, but even with warm presets the image retained a slight green cast. Unlike its 4K counterpart WB7022 (tested in c't 18/2021), the WB5023 does not support face recognition for Windows Hello. On the other hand, Dell has retained the somewhat coarse brightness adjustment...
The Dell wins this web cam duel by a narrow margin. This is mainly due to its great picture quality. The Logitech, on the other hand, scores with better sound. Both webcams are well suited for the home office. Buyers simply have to know what is more important to them: picture or sound.
