This device supports 4G/LTE for fast data exchange over mobile networks. This allows you to access the internet from almost anywhere, independent of LANs or Wi-Fi, and at broadband speeds. The built-in eighth-generation Intel Core processor is based on the energy-efficient 14nm architecture, like its predecessor, which prevents overheating even under full load, while delivering more performance at a consistent power consumption. Key innovations include various performance optimizations and an increased number of physical and virtual cores, which provide a significant boost in performance and smooth multitasking. The graphics solution enables many features that were previously reserved for dedicated graphics cards – from video editing to gaming and 4K video playback. Thanks to Turbo Boost 2.0, it can dynamically adjust its clock speed to find the optimal balance between energy consumption and performance. Enjoy noticeably accelerated system and program startup times. As mass storage, a lightning-fast solid-state drive (SSD) provides the necessary space for your programs and files. The main advantage of SSDs is their fast access times and high read and write speeds, which overshadow traditional hard drives. Another benefit is that SSDs contain no moving parts, leading to increased durability since there are no mechanical parts that wear out. Additionally, SSDs are completely silent. This notebook features a smart card reader as an additional authentication factor, so that, for example, in addition to entering a username and password, a physical medium, in this case a chip card, may be required for computer access. This way, the risks of single-factor authentication are mitigated.
