The expansion band is used to pass the foundation earthing conductor through movement joints in extensive foundations (multiple sections) without having to lead the earthing conductor out of the foundation slab. The expansion band is embedded in the foundation slab, allowing one end to remain in one section while the other end can be loosely continued in the next section. Design with bands made of stainless steel in the Styrofoam block.
