On stage or at the photo-video set, Gaffer Tape is a fully-fledged team member that often leaves unwanted traces in the form of adhesive residue after the gig. That's exactly why we have the Defender EXA-TAPE®, which can be removed without leaving any residue and has been developed according to today's needs in the stage, audio/video, and construction sectors.
The EXA-TAPE® is a high-quality cloth tape - known in professional jargon as Gaffer Tape - for professional use. It can be easily torn by hand with a clean tear edge without fraying.
The secret lies in the cellulosic fabric. EXA-TAPE® is coated with a special natural rubber adhesive, adheres to almost all surfaces, and allows for residue-free removal despite its high adhesive strength.
Stick hard, but leave no traces
This applies not only to the adhesive strength and residue-free nature of the tape but also reflects our goals and beliefs in producing sustainable products and packaging. The packaging is held together without adhesive and is made from recycled materials.
The EXA-TAPE® is available in various colors: matte black, which does not reflect stage light, glossy black, glossy silver, and glossy white, for example, to label or mark important positions.
