Datalogic Magellan 2300HS
1D barcodesProduct details
The Magellan 2300HS Scanner has been specifically designed for retailers who value high performance and a compact, horizontal form factor. This cost-effective scanner is particularly suitable for medium to large volume point-of-sale (POS) applications, making it ideal for drugstores, gas stations, small to medium grocery stores, hardware stores, and specialty shops.
The advanced FirstStrike software decoding algorithms ensure the best reading speeds in the industry while also improving the first-read rates of damaged, crumpled, or poorly printed barcodes. Flash memory allows for easy software upgrades, extending the retailer's investment lifespan. The RS-232 auxiliary port can be utilized in various ways, such as integrating a handheld scanner, programming and configuring the scanner, or accessing the scanner's label data output. For applications requiring electronic article surveillance (EAS), the 2300HS can be equipped with Checkpoint EAS; through the RS-232 auxiliary interface, it supports Sensormatic EAS systems and provides reliable read confirmation.
