Designed for applications at the POS and in customer service, the Magellan 1500i is a powerful presentation scanner. It is based on a high-performance imager and, with its modern, compact design, fits on any sales or service table. Equipped with Digimarc barcode technology, it captures standard 1D and 2D codes as well as watermark codes, making it a secure investment for the future.

The Magellan 1500i features an innovative megapixel sensor and customizable optics, capturing codes from distances of up to 25 cm. Its sweep speed for 1D codes reaches up to 1.5 m/s. Powerful decoding algorithms ensure the capture of 1D and 2D codes, including damaged and distorted codes. This makes the presentation scanner highly user-friendly, facilitating quick and intuitive data capture processes.

The new lighting system allows for the capture of printed codes as well as displays of mobile devices. When the scanner is picked up, it automatically switches to handheld mode thanks to Datalogic’s Motionix motion sensor technology. Additional features such as target illumination and Green Spot technology simplify every scanning process. Once the scanner is set down, it immediately returns to presentation mode.
