The Gryphon GPS4490 is a presentation scanner available in an elegant design in white or dark gray. It features the same characteristics and performance specifications as the handheld scanner Gryphon GD4400. In presentation mode, it is ideal for capturing small and lightweight items. For reading heavy, bulky goods, it can also be used as a handheld scanner.

With its compact design, it fits into any POS environment—even in checkout areas with limited space. It stands on a movable base, allowing for optimal positioning and easy, intuitive scanning. If the base is not needed, it can be removed, reducing the scanner to an even more compact unit.

The GPS4400 presentation scanner is designed to safely and quickly capture codes from mobile phones, PDAs, and screens. It also boasts excellent reading capabilities in close-range, a wide scanning area, and high motion tolerance. This ensures high read rates even for low-quality or damaged barcodes. Like all members of the Gryphon family, the GPS4400 is equipped with the patented visual confirmation technology "Green Spot." As a versatile solution, it also supports the capture of images and signatures at the POS.
