The highly versatile and robust wireless linear imagers of the Gryphon I GM4100 series are perfectly suited for use in retail and light industrial environments, where a high degree of freedom of movement is required for practical reasons. The narrowband radio with Datalogic’s STAR Cordless System is key to increased productivity and flexibility in the workplace. The GM4100 series of readers offers scalable solutions from simple point-to-point applications to point-to-multipoint installations with up to 16 readers, all connected to the same base station. Datalogic’s new patented 2-position stand provides a multi-solution for functional requirements and limited space. It serves as a hands-free stand and allows for simultaneous scanning and charging, ensuring that the device is always operational for higher productivity. The batch mode capability of the GM4100 allows for the storage of several thousand codes. This feature, combined with a capacity of 50,000 scans per lithium-ion battery charge, ensures unlimited mobility and reliable data capture, even when the scanner is out of range of the base station. The standard multi-interface solution (GM4130) offers host connectivity via USB, RS-232, keyboard, and wedge emulation, while the IBM interface models (GM4110) ensure connectivity via IBM 46XX, USB, and RS-232.
