Thanks to the new wireless charging feature, the Gryphon barcode scanner can be quickly and easily charged inductively. It no longer has charging ports, making it less susceptible to damage. The wireless data transmission is also efficient, as the Gryphon GBT4500 is equipped with Bluetooth 4.0 with BLE.

The Gryphon scans 1D, 2D, and optional Digimarc barcodes at high speed. The eye-friendly white backlighting particularly aids in reading low-contrast colored barcodes. The Gryphon has a very high depth of field, allowing it to instantly capture poorly readable or damaged barcodes. In manual or stand mode, the Datalogic Motionix motion sensors automatically switch between the required scanning modes during use.

The barcode scanner is particularly robust due to its IP52 certification and its resistance to drops from up to 1.8 meters. Its charging and transmission station features a multi-interface with USB, RS-232, and keyboard wedge.
