Three optical options to meet every customer need. The PowerScan PD9630 area imagers are available in three different versions to satisfy every customer requirement. The standard range optics are ideal for most applications that require intuitive barcode reading from a distance. The high-performance optics add the capability to decode high-density barcodes, along with increased depth of field for standard 1D/2D codes. The document capture model is designed for wide-angle code reading and document capture applications.

The PD9630 area imagers are also equipped with Datalogic's exclusive 3 Green Lights (3GL™), providing excellent reading feedback along with a loud beep and vibration. The 'Green Spot' technology directly on the code and two good-read LEDs enhance visibility from any angle. All models feature multi-interface capabilities with the most popular interfaces: RS-232, USB, and optionally offer Ethernet for standard or industrial use. Datalogic's Motionix™ motion detection technology recognizes the natural actions of the operator to automatically switch the scanner into the desired scan mode (handheld or presentation scanning).
