PRL Syrena 104 - Beige
In May 1953, the government presidium decided to begin the development of a new Polish compact car. The goal was to create a popular means of transport that saves time in professional and leisure activities, intended for innovators, exemplary workers, activists, scientists, and leading representatives of the intelligentsia.
In June 1955, the prototype of the Syrena was publicly presented for the first time at the 24th International Fair in Poznań. The Syrena 104 was the last model with "suicide doors" that opened opposite to the direction of travel.
