Patch cable, 2.5 m, green. RJ-45 - RJ-45, Cat 6A. S/FTP shielding, cable jacket: halogen-free. Cable type: CU 7702 flex 4P (Category 7). These shielded patch and connection cables feature a shielded RJ45 connector, a molded strain relief, and a bend protection sleeve in the color of the cable jacket, as well as a latch protection on both sides. Halogen-free jacket. Unlike conventional PVC cables, these cables are halogen-free: the dangerous release of halogenated combustion gases is thus excluded, and smoke generation is minimized. Halogen-free cables are also flame-retardant, and there is no dangerous ignition cord effect. Screened Foiled Twisted Pair (S/FTP) refers to cables that have a metallic shield around each pair of wires (FTP) and additionally a metallic overall shield (S). Shielded cables exhibit minimal impedance or reactance deviations compared to unshielded ones. The transmission parameters remain relatively constant even at high frequencies and are better than those of UTP cables. Category 6A. Category 6 augmented (Cat 6A) is a standard that arises from the increased bandwidth requirements of 10-Gigabit Ethernet (10 GBASE-T). Cat 6A cables are designed for transmission frequencies up to 500 MHz and lengths up to 100 m, and they are backward compatible with existing categories.
