CTK Anticorrosive Soundproofing Mastic 2 kg is a flexible paste based on butyl rubber and bitumen additives for sound insulation and corrosion protection of external body elements, such as vehicle floors, wheel arches, and sills. It offers sound absorption and vibration damping properties. The paste can also be used to dampen plastic wheel arches. It is applied with a brush to a dry, degreased surface that is free from dirt and rust. If necessary, it can be thinned with a solvent before use. Once dried, it forms a permanently flexible and sound-absorbing protective layer that is resistant to mechanical stress, such as stone impacts, and weather conditions.

Caution! Due to its strong penetrating properties and odor, it is not recommended to use the product inside the vehicle to dampen upholstery elements or door panels, as it may penetrate fabric covers or leak and be heavily absorbed by the upholstery material. Stir the contents of the can thoroughly before use. The contents are sufficient for approximately 1.5 m² at a thickness of 1 mm.

Technical data:
Color: black
