The CTEK NXT 5 is a 12V 5A battery charger designed for the reliable charging and maintenance of lead-acid batteries, including AGM, EFB, and GEL types. This compact charger measures approximately 18 cm in length, 7 cm in width, and 4 cm in height, weighing around 400 g for easy portability and storage. It features a microprocessor-controlled charging process with eight different stages: desulfation, soft start, bulk charge, absorption charge, analysis, reconditioning, maintenance charge, and pulse maintenance charge. The device operates in a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C and offers reverse polarity protection, short circuit protection, and over-temperature protection for safe operation. With its IP65-rated housing, the charger is dust-tight and protected against low-pressure water jets from all directions. The NXT 5 is suitable for batteries with capacities ranging from 1.2 Ah to 160 Ah, making it versatile for motorcycles, cars, boats, and other recreational vehicles. It includes a 1.5 m power cable and a 1.2 m battery connection cable with eyelet connectors and a secured connection for safe installation. The charger’s LED indicators provide clear status information about the charging process, and its automatic voltage detection ensures compatibility with 12V systems.
