Batteries require an appropriate charge level to ensure starting reliability and a long lifespan. The purpose of the new charge status indicator from CTEK's Comfort Indicator is to determine the charge status and display it to the user at any time. The charge level of the battery can be easily and immediately shown using the traffic light function. The best part is that you can connect any XS800, XC800, XS 3600, XS 4003, XS 7000, XS 0.8, XC 0.8, MXS 3.6, MXS 5.0, or MXS 7.0 directly to the Comfort Indicator to charge the battery or achieve optimal charging. The indicator light shines green when charging above 12.85 volts and turns red when charging below 12.4 volts. Therefore, it is assumed that batteries below 12.4 volts are at risk of sulfation.
