Iron-on transfer film for sublimation printing in the detail color orange. This self-adhesive film is applied with a heat press at 205 °C and allows for smooth, seamless transfers that never wrinkle or peel.
Printable materials: In principle, all uncoated polyester fabrics can be printed, as well as polyester blends with a minimum of 65% polyester. The higher the polyester content, the more vibrant the colors. Cotton cannot be directly sublimated. Ideally, the surface should be white or at least light. For hard goods, a flat surface is required.
Sublimation printing differs from heat transfer or vinyl applications, where artwork is attached to a base material with adhesive. Here, an unsmeltable color transfer becomes one with the material itself. The result is bright, beautiful, seamlessly smooth transfers that never flake, peel, wrinkle, or crack.
